Today FM commissioned us to create an award for their Best in Ireland Awards 2014, The awards include Best Annual Festival, Cafe, Handyman, and Sausage. The judges for the final event held on the 5th of December included Derval O’Rourke, Evelyn Cusack, Conor Pope and Colm O’Gorman, they awarded the winners in all 12 categories live on the Ray D’Arcy Show with our hand crafted award made in our workshop in Co. Meath. It was made from black Kilkenny marble, clear cast laser engraved acrylic and torched stainless steel. During the making of the award we made a video documenting all aspects that we went through in making each award, see below.
