The RTÉ Sports Awards are taking place this Saturday the 19th of December and will be broadcast on RTÉ One at 9.40pm.

Our handbuilt perpetual awards that will be given on the night are RTÉ Sport Person of the Year, Team of the Year and Manager of the Year. The ceremony will also see the Hall of Fame award being presented to a sporting legend, which has just been finished in our workshop here in Duleek.

The main award on the night is Sports Person of the Year, with 14 nominees in total. Will it be Paul O'Connell who was named Player of the Tournament during the Six Nations or 2015 Hurler of the Year TJ Reid? Can rugby star Sophie Spence nab it or has Conor McGregor earned it after his 13 second UFC Featherweight World Championship victory?

Congratulations to all who won awards at the Irish Pharmacist Awards 2015 at the Mansion House in Dublin at the end of November. 9 awards were presented throughout the night to celebrate and reward pharmacists in hospital, community, industry, academic and leading pharmaceutical companies. Our weighing scale design was again in action for these highly desirable awards in brass, bronze, aluminium and acrylic.
